One-Leg Stand challenge: how long can you hold it?
The one-leg stand is a simple balance test that doctors use to gauge stability. Here it becomes a hold-as-long-as-you-can challenge, tracked by your webcam.
How to play
- Stand facing the camera, about 2 metres back, with your whole body in frame.
- Lift one foot off the floor. It must not rest on your standing foot or leg.
- Keep your standing leg fairly straight. The timer starts when the pose locks in.
World record
The longest recorded hold we found is 76:40:00 by Suresh Joachim (Sri Lanka), 1997 (Guinness World Records). Records can be broken after we last checked, and a hold timed on SlayFit is not an official attempt.
Soft knee, steady core, eyes on a fixed point. Switch legs between attempts.
